Australian/Domestic students tuition fees
Tuition assurance
Tuition assurance protects students in the event a course of study provided by an approved HELP provider ceases to be provided after it starts but before it is completed.
Important:
National tuition assurance arrangements for private Higher Education providers changed on 1 January 2018. The Government has implemented interim tuition assurance arrangements for the 2018 calendar year for FEE-HELP students. New tuition assurance arrangements are slated for commencement on 1 January 2019. For more information please visit the education.gov.au website.
During these interim changes, please note:
- If you are a Full Fee Paying domestic student (i.e. you have paid full fees for your study) your tuition fees are no longer assured by Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET)
- If you are a FEE-HELP student (i.e. you have used a FEE-HELP loan to pay for your study) tuition assurance services are being provided by the Department of Education
There have been no changes which apply to eligibility for FEE-HELP. Details of eligibility are published by the Australian Government on the StudyAssist website.
Note: Study Group Australia Pty Limited trading as Taylors College does not offer FEE-HELP to any new student enrolling in a higher education course after 31 July 2019.
